These are difficult times for our community, and some of us have been hit harder than others. Due to the generosity of some local donors, we are now able to deliver a free box of essential groceries to anyone who is finding it hard to make ends meet. There is no need for a referral. If you finish a free WAMA Box and find you need another, you can order one for the following week.

Questions about WAMA boxes?
Please share WAMA Box information
Want to tell your friends and neighbours about WAMA boxes? We'd like to reach everyone in need of a WAMA box and appreciate that some who might benefit from a box aren't able to get online. Feel free to share the downloadable leaflet with friends and neighbours. Please obtain permission from anyone you think might benefit from a WAMA box if you plan to order one on their behalf.
Areas we cover
Wotton Area Mutual Aid (WAMA) was set up to cover Wotton-under-Edge and its surrounding villages, based on the areas supported by the two GP surgeries in the town.
Some villages have their own support groups but WAMA does respond to all requests that come directly to us.
Areas covered are indicated within the map alongside this and include: Wotton, Charfield, Wickwar, Hillesley, Hawkesbury, Cromhall, Tortworth, Tresham, North Nibley, Ozleworth, Bowcott, Whiteway and Stancombe.
