Wotton Area Mutual Aid
Wotton Area Mutual Aid (WAMA) was launched in response to the Covid-19 pandemic and utilised a network of local volunteers set up to provide mutual aid during in the Wotton area. After careful consideration the WAMA admin team have decided to put all services - including WAMA boxes and our phone helpline - on hold from 5th September 2020. If the situation changes, we will be able to resume services quickly.
Local support services
As lockdown eased there has been a decline in the number of people seeking help from WAMA. With effect from 1st August our ‘request for support’ form and spreadsheet will be suspended.
Information about other organisations offering ongoing support is available on our useful links page.
